Welcome to Do What You Can, a global movement driven by individual action — one piece of trash at a time. My name is Pasindu, and I created this platform to show how much impact a single person can make in protecting and cleaning our environment.
This journey began in Bali, Indonesia, when I saw piles of garbage littering Seminyak Beach. That moment made me realize: environmental responsibility isn’t just for governments or organizations — it starts with each of us. I decided then and there to take action, starting by cleaning nature and properly disposing of waste wherever I could.
Since that day, I’ve continued collecting garbage from beaches, parks, forests, and city streets — anywhere nature is being harmed by pollution. I’m not backed by any company or campaign. I’m just one person doing what I can, hoping to inspire others to do the same.
At Do What You Can, we believe that small environmental actions create big ripple effects. This website documents my efforts and exists to inspire, educate, and empower others to take their own micro actions — whether that’s picking up trash, reducing plastic use, or raising awareness in your community.
Why It Matters
- Plastic pollution and waste are choking our oceans, forests, and cities.
- Micro actions like picking up litter or sorting recyclables can prevent long-term damage.
- Collective impact starts with individuals making conscious choices.
